Maxwel Hohn has more than 4000 diving experience and is a skilled adventurer, photographer, and filmmaker. He lives on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, and loves exploring the coastline and diving. Hollis Scuba gear is used to help him improve his skills and aid in his projects.
Bob Hollis
Bob Hollis is a pioneer in the scuba diving industry, a local legend and a member of the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. In the late 1950s, he began to scuba dive and became interested in underwater photography. This new hobby required specialized equipment. Hollis' engineering education led him to create his own housings and accessories for underwater cameras. Hollis established Anchor Shack, a Hayward-based store selling underwater cameras in 1965. Soon, he began receiving mail orders about his housings.
Oceanic
One of the most recognized and well-known brands in scuba diving, Hollis Scuba Oceanic is one. The company was founded in 1972 by Bob Hollis and has since been synonymous with high quality diving equipment. Divers can use the company's products to rebreathe, as well as dive computers and innovative masks that have heads-up displays. They also helped develop military diving equipment, such as the MK-25 which is used by US Navy frogmen, and other naval work divers.

Recalled dive computers
Hollis's Scuba has recalled several dive computers that could cause drowning. The defective air flow control system on the recalled dive computer could cause a diver to lose control of his breathing underwater. These dive computers were bought between November 2010-July 2012 for around $1200. For repairs, the units can be returned either to the manufacturer or to a dealer.

If you have any problems with your new equipment, you can contact Hollis to exchange it or get a refund. This warranty does not include shipping and handling fees. You cannot use your equipment for commercial or military purposes.
