Bob Hollis
Bob Hollis, a pioneer in the diving industry and a local legend, is a member of International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. He began scuba diving in the late 1950s and developed an interest in underwater photography. This hobby required specialized equipment. Hollis earned an engineering degree and was able to develop his own housings. Hollis started Anchor Shack, an underwater camera store in Hayward (California) in 1965. He started receiving mail orders soon for his housings.

Oceanic
The Hollis Scuba Oceanic name is one of the most well-known in scuba dive. Founded by Bob Hollis in 1972, the company has become synonymous with high quality scuba equipment. Products include dive computers, rebreathers and new diving masks with heads up displays. They have also been involved in the development of military diving equipment, including the MK-25, which is used by US Navy frogmen and other naval work divers.
Hollis scuba diving gear
Hollis manufactures diving equipment that is both technically advanced and ergonomically designed. With engineering expertise, the company designs equipment to meet the needs of both beginning sport divers and seasoned technical divers. Hollis' scuba diving equipment uses cutting-edge materials made from proven technologies.
Recalled dive computers
Hollis's Scuba has recalled several dive computers that could cause drowning. The diver could lose control of their breathing underwater due to a malfunctioning air flow control. These dive computers were purchased between November 2010 to July 2012 for around $1200. The factory can repair or replace the damaged units by returning them to the dealer.

The warranty covers recreational scuba diving as long as the equipment is properly maintained. Hollis can help you exchange or refund your equipment if you have any issues. This warranty does however not cover shipping costs. Your warranty will also be null if your equipment is used for commercial or military purposes.
