NAUI Master Scuba Diver
The NAUI Master Scuba Diver is the most highly sought after certification in recreational scuba diving. Students must complete the course by learning how to scuba dive and then completing at least two open water dives. This program provides a continuing education opportunity. It emphasizes classroom discussion and practical application. Students are encouraged to participate. Before the first session, students must take E-learning courses and spend at least 23 hours in classroom instruction. Topics covered include diving equipment, diving Physics, deep diving and search and recovery. Students must pass an exam that tests their water skills, similar to those required by a NAUI Assistant Instructor.

SDI Master Scuba Diver Development Program

The program will help you improve your skills in navigation and rescue procedures. You will learn buddy rescues and self-rescue, as well as how to give first aid to divers in emergencies. You'll also learn how to search for lost divers and develop a search pattern.

The SSI Master Scuba Diver rating, one of the highest levels of recreational diving, is available. This rating combines skills development with knowledge and experiences. The qualification allows scuba divers who have completed the course to become role models for other recreational divers. For this elite rating, the diver must have completed four courses and at least 50 dives.
