What Is ERDI?

ERDI, a leader in educational research and development, is available to all levels of education, including assistant/deputy superintendents and CTOs. This program has fostered dialogue between school district leaders, industry leaders, and helped to improve the quality of education. ERDI also hosted the first ever Thought Leader Symposium where industry and school leaders explored ways to improve equity and excellence in education.

Programs offered by ERDI

ERDI's Programs are a great way to help international students further their education in their home country. ERDI courses may be taken in Finland by students at the University of Eastern Finland. The programs aim to improve the intercultural dialogue between participating countries and to tackle environmental issues on a global scale. ERDI courses are taught and planned by teachers from both of these countries. Both students and teachers can benefit from the multicultural teaching environment.


In the case of ERDI's Testifying in Court program, students will gain insight into the court system and criminal legal processes. This course will help students gain a deeper understanding and ability to give their testimony.

Underwater Crime Scene Investigations Program

ERDI Underwater Crime Scene Investigation is designed to assist law enforcement officers in acquiring the skills and knowledge required to conduct underwater crime scene investigations. The course will instruct participants in how to collect evidence and document the scene. Participants can also provide court-ready testimony. The course is free and open to law enforcement personnel and other emergency service personnel.

Instructors who have extensive experience in forensic investigations will be teaching the course. They are experts and certified in the area of underwater crime scene investigation. They are experts in law enforcement and criminal justice. They have advanced knowledge in crime scene investigation. They will train law enforcement personnel and public safety workers from all corners of the globe.

Component of Confined Space Diving Ops

This ERDI component teaches students the skills and knowledge necessary to perform limited operations in confined spaces. This training is compliant to OSHA and NFPA regulations. Students will be able respond to various emergencies in cramped spaces. Students will also learn to properly decontaminate victims, and how to search for evidence.
