Is Scuba ELearning right for me?

Scuba eLearning allows for online study and is used by many educators and professionals. Scuba eLearning includes prescriptive and engaging reviews of scuba principles and procedures. There are two important components to the eLearning: knowledge review via ReActivate eLearning and refresher training with PADI Professional. ReActivate certification cards are issued to divers who have successfully completed the program. Divers who have been trained previously by another organization might receive a ReActivate Recognizance Card. ReActivate Online Learning has 20 main sections as well as several scenarios.

PADI eLearning can be used to study online.

PADI eLearning can be used in the same way as traditional classroom courses, but the program is delivered online. Both the course content and instructor procedures are the same. There are however some differences. Although the eLearning program may not be as detailed as a traditional classroom course it is still highly accessible. To take advantage of the eLearning program, the student should have some knowledge about computers and Internet technologies. The online courses are easier for busy people than any other method.

To enroll in online courses, you must use your PADI eLearning Account. PADI requires that each student create an email account. This account is completely free. To access your eLearning material, you must have a valid e-mail address. To be able to receive your temporary card and your actual cards, you must have your PADI certification training record. Alternativly, you may use an older photograph of yourself from your previous PADI certification courses.

The PADI eLearning program relies on assessment, response scoring, and remediation training. Each material section is followed by Quick Quiz-Self Assessments. Students answer a brief quiz by selecting an answer. If the student gives an incorrect answer they are shown the correct one and directed to the section. Passing is a good result.
