TDI Extended range is a special course for divers with limited access to Trimix. It emphasizes solid procedures, skill development, and diver response to situations. Students will learn how two decompression gases can be used and how to safely diversify in the Extended Range environment. TDI Extended Range training divers can be done with nitrox or air.
TDI Trimix
TDI Trimix certification opens new doors for divers. This certification also allows divers to have more bottom time, and can go up to 60 meters/200 feet. The Extended Range course is also available in eLearning form. If you're unable to find a dive center in your area, you can complete the course online with TDI eLearning. This course will educate you about extended range diving.
The Extended Range course allows you to dive in more challenging areas and reduce your nitrogen narcosis. Learn how to prepare and execute stage compression dives, using up two stage bottles of enriched or oxygen. The Extended Range course may also be combined with TDI Trimix Diver Certification.
TDI Trimix training can prepare you for advanced dives and allow you to dive up 60 meters in normoxic conditions. TDI Trimix training emphasizes safety and skill development, since problems at this depth need to be addressed quickly. Divers should be familiar with all procedures to avoid complications.
