
You can earn the SSI Mermaid certificate online. You can do it online, so you can work whenever and wherever you like. There are two parts of the certification. The practical portion is online and the other part is online. The online portion can be completed on a laptop or computer. You can also use your smartphone for the practical part. Both iOS and Android users can access the SSI App.
JODY PRATT
JODY PRATT, a PADI Mermaid Instructor, is a certified SSI Instructor trainer. She has many Specialty Instructor Ratings and started diving as a youngster. She loves the water and enjoys getting back to basics during her open water classes. JODY has also been certified as a Technical Rescue instructor trainer.

Michelle Forsbrey
Michelle Forsbrey enjoys swimming and surfing and is a passionate surfer. To help her rehab, she bought a mermaid tail. When she wore the tail in a local hotel swimming pond, she attracted the attention and admiration of children and parents.
Try Mermaid Experience
You can be anything you want, from a dream to becoming a mermaid to curiousity about how it works. SSI offers a Try Mermaid experience that lets you try swimming underwater with mermaid fins. This course is ideal for beginners. It will teach swimming underwater safely, using mermaid tail fins, holding your breath underwater, and more. The $15 you receive towards your full certification is yours after you complete your Try Mermaid Course.
Rusty
Rusty was born in New Orleans, but grew up in a small town in the Atchafalaya Basin. It's the largest swamp in the US, covering 22 parishes. Living in the swamp has given him a deep appreciation for the unique cajun culture. In addition to diving, Rusty enjoys cycling, underwater photography, and spending time with his family.
Niki
Niki Dawson, a female entrepreneur and professional scuba instructor, is also a creative wedding planner. She enjoys travelling to other parts of the world to dive. Her favorite dive spots include Micronesia, Australia, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Western Pacific. While she loves diving, Niki loves exploring every part of the world.

Evi
Evi is a performer and instructor of mermaid swim. Evi's first mermaid academy opened in March 2018. Since then, hundreds of guppies have learned to swim with her tail. Evi, along with Naomi, has competed in World Mermaid Championship. Her goal is for children to enjoy the water and be safe around reefs.
