There are several options if you want a rebreather to keep you smelling the water and breathing oxygen. The IDA71, AP, as well as Closed-circuit rebreathers are just a few of the options. Find out more about these devices. These devices are meant to maintain optimal EANx and keep you breathing fresh air.

Closed-circuit Rebreathers

Closed circuit rebreathers can be used by divers and anyone with limited air supply. The four main components of these devices are the head, the Over Pressure Valve(OPV), the Bail Out Valve(BOV) and the counterlung. The water trap is located at the bottom.

The closed-circuit rebreather keeps the exhaled gas in a closed loop, where it is refreshed, filtered, and recycled back to the diver. The diver can inhale without fear of the system contaminating with toxic gases. The closed circuit system also allows for the diver's to see the oxygen partial pressure. A diver can view the maximum dive time, airpressure, and depth on his dive computer.

An oxygen control valve is part of the closed-circuit rebreather. It is connected to a dilute tank. The diluent tank holds a 42 gram gas block. The gas block has an inlet hose 44 and a feed hose 46. The gas block is connected to the rebreather via a manual add hose that runs 50 feet. The secondary hose connects the rebreather's head 36 to the oxygen control va 28.

IDA71 rebreather

The IDA71 rebreathing apparatus is used by military and marine divers. It was developed by the Russian company Rysk. There are currently 71 models. The Russian terminology for insulating respir apparatus is the inspiration for the names. The models have been designed to reduce simmotstand. They also come with an oxygen diffuser.

The IDA-71 system can be worn on the back and is compact in comparison to the IDA-59. It is also compatible with a heavy work helmet and can integrate with a full dry suit for hazardous environments. The IDA-71 has been extensively used for heat exchanger surveys in nuclear power stations and covert military functions.

Its design, which is among the most innovative in the world, is unique. This can allow divers to dive for a longer time. It has a small oxygen cartridge that allows the circuit to fill the rebreather before the diver begins the diving process.

AP rebreather

There are many options for divers of all budgets and styles to choose from in the AP rebreather range. Each model is customizable with the possibility to choose between 3 different chassis sizes and 5 different harness sizes. There are also two different scrubber lengths. The AP line is also designed with comfort and versatility in mind, with options for multiple upgrade options that can make the rebreather even more comfortable and convenient to use.

AP Diving has been in the business of diving equipment for over 45 years. Their goal is to be the best in everything they do, and they are committed to educating and supporting the sport and technical diving community. The company's rebreathers are unique in design and manufacturing processes that allow them to guarantee quality and consistency. A complete diving machine is also manufactured by the company, which includes tanks, lungs and BCDs.

Adjustable flow orifices allow divers to control the flow of air while they dive. This means that it will automatically adjust to any fluctuations in oxygen partial pressure in the diving loop. These rebreathers also weigh less so divers can easily transport them around.
