Prerequisites

Students will need to complete required sections and complete an online e-record in order to complete this course. The Advanced Open Water course content is broken down into four sections: the theoretical, practical, recreational, and final.


The Advanced Open Water Diver Course builds upon the Open Water Diver class. It teaches advanced skills and techniques, including navigation, buoyancy, and deep diving. Students will also have the opportunity to complete three specialty dives, one of which may count toward a specialty certification. This course will improve confidence and competence. It is recommended following the PADI Open Water Diver course. This course teaches divers to safely and responsibly dive in new conditions.

Equipment needed
