Bob Hollis
Bob Hollis, who is a pioneer of the sport of scubadiving, is a local legend as well as a member of International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. In the late 1950s, Hollis started scuba diving and began to take up underwater photography. This new hobby required specialized equipment, and Hollis' engineering degree led him to develop his own housings for underwater cameras. Hollis, a Hayward, California-based underwater camera retailer, opened Anchor Shack in 1965. He started receiving mail orders soon for his housings.

Oceanic
The Hollis Scuba Oceanic name is one of the most well-known in scuba dive. The company was established by Bob Hollis, in 1972. Since then, it has become synonymous for high quality scuba equipment. The company's products include rebreathers, dive computers and novel diving masks with heads-up displays. They were also involved in the design of military diving equipment including the MK-25 that is used by US Navy sailors and other naval divers.

The air flow control system of the recalled dive computers is defective and could result in the diver losing control over their breathing underwater. These dive computers were bought between November 2010-July 2012 for around $1200. You can return the affected units to the factory or dealer for repairs.

Hollis is available to help with any questions or concerns about your new equipment. This warranty does NOT cover shipping and handling.
